Zooey had just finished taking photos of Rudd and I when I got a notification from BluAbyss Denimore that she had pre-released her new summer skins for everyone in the Vive9 group. Excited much? I think my AOKI skin from v9 is my favorite skin of all time. It’s not only beautiful, but the details are really exquisite. From the lips, to the collarbone, to the goosebumps, right to the rear-end and then some. I’m a very, very big fan of her skins. For this particular shoot, I popped on her Summer Glow skin. I wanted something creamy and pre-sunburn, something that screamed SPF50 all over. This was perfect.
Also, I figured that the crowd at the Hair Fare had finally dialed down, so I paid Maitreya’s booth a visit. I love a messy braid in the summer time and being a very big fan of all things realistic, I put on Maitreya Moon (in Kala Jeera) for this photoshoot and fell totally, totally in love.
New and old, these polaroids contain some of my favorite swimsuits from both last year and current. I love the colorful suits from Emery, the embroidered look from The Closet, the patterns from Mimikri, ZIBWARE and KAO and of course, Artilleri for their hand-drawn designs. Pair these up with Surf Couture flip-flops and your favorite shades and there’s your equation to a perfect summer.
